My Last Day...

This was my last day at fashion week and it was quite amazing! I saw a few shows and ran into some pretty amazing celebrities! The last show I saw was Zac Posen and it was amazing! It was in the biggest part of the tent and was loaded with famous people. I was also sitting at the end of the runway so I got some pretty good pictures for my first time there.

Free Haviana's!

I found out that almost all of the booths at fashion week were giving away free gifts and one of them was the haviana's booth that was giving away free sandals! They are sandals that say mercedes benz fashion week on the bottom of the sandal. I ended up waiting in line and getting a pair of white and black ones.

One of the best shows was the Reem Acra show! I loved it cause I was sitting in front row and saw a few celebrities like Ashanti.

One of the amazing stars of the office was at fashion week during one of the days I was there and I ran into her near the VIP Entrance. It was really weird cause no one really stopped her and she was just calmly walking with two friends. She was extremely nice and I loved her!

Ps. My friend didn't know how to use my camera so the picture is really up close and kinda blurry and dark....I was bummed out but whatever.

Second Day...

So I started out by going back to the tents with some of the hints and tips I got from my new friend yesterday and figured out that they actually worked! I was so excited that I ended up getting into a few more shows. I also got some photographs of some people who seemed to be important. Some of them I don't know the names but I do know one was Miss Pennsylvania, Nina Garcia, and two others I don't really know.

Secrets of Getting In to The Tents

So after the first show at fashion week I started talking to someone when we were walking out. I had learned that it is very easy to get into the tents and you don't have to have a pass. You are supposed to just walk past the security and not even bother. As long as you look and act like you are supposed to be there they will let you in. Thanks to Jared who gave me this hint!

First Day there...

Gottex Fashion Show

So I didn't really know how I was going to attempt to get into Mercedes Benz Fashion week but I had to try somehow. The first night I tried to get in I just walked right in to the tents and stood around for a while. After standing around for a bit someone came up to me and handed me a ticket to go to the last show. This was my first fashion show ever!! Pretty exciting for the first one.

It All Begins Here...

Having fashion week start creates excitement in the air that the city cannot ignore. Never being at fashion week I decided that I would find a way to get in...nothing was going to stop me. Here is a short blog of me sneaking into the event and photos of shows and people I ran into during the event.
